If you'd like to help along the development of PSUP and/or would like to submit your advance order or PSUP, please let me know. The more advance orders I get, the faster I will work on PSUP and the more people help, the better.
An advance copy is available now! Get your copy of PSUP 0.2 pre-release (~762K) to see for yourself if it's worth the money.
A new pre-release version of PSUP will be available shortly that will also include a pre-release of the manual.

The current version of PSUP includes PSCIU with a sample EPS file that is already attached. Although you can attach any EPS file to it, the file that is in PSUP is not included as a binary. You can get it as china.pcx (zipped).
This image is part of the Corel PhotoCD sampler dated 1993. The file was originally 200080.PCD. It was saved as a TIFF file, then imported into PhotoFinish 2.0, clipped, resized to 500 pixels wide (proportional height), brightness was made +5, contrast +10 and new image was saved as this PCX. The EPS was simply generated with the "SaveAs" command in PhotoFinish.

So, What is PSUP?

PSUP is a series of PostScript and other files for various purposes all aimed at helping users, systems administrators and manufacturers of postscript printer, devices and RIPs better understand and use printers as well as help in the debugging process of the interpreter code.

PSUP is *NOT* sharewear or freeware. I have spent a lot of time developing this package. If you feel you have contributed to it and are entitled to a free or lower priced copy of PSUP, please let me know and I will evaluate your request.

PSUP will be available for (US)$100 including shipping and handling within the continental United States and Canada. For other countries, please enquire. You will receive at least 4 new updates or all updates for a year if more than 4 are released in the same year. That is based on my estimate of 4 updates a year. Further updates will be available for (US)$25 plus shipping (update price does not include shipping to any location.

Since most of PSUP is simply PostScript code and consequently not copy protected, I am simply counting on your honesty to keep it's development alive. If you have any comments, bug reports or suggestions, please let me know. If you help enough with PSUP, I will certainly consider a rebate for you. Please include your name and registration number in any email to me about PSUP.

Okay, What comes with PSUP?

Right now the whole of PSUP is not fully defined and many parts are not finished yet, but here is a list of some of the programs that will come with PSUP:

I'm sure there are many other utilities that you'd like to see as well, so make sure you submit them to me.
